Family-friendly Event at Gray's Lake Park to benefit renowned Brain Aneurysm Foundation

Please register now and join us for a wonderful, new event--the 1st Annual Brain Aneurysm Awareness 5K. Scheduled to take place on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Gray's Lake Park on Fleur Drive in Des Moines, IA, this new event will benefit the world renowned Brain Aneurysm Foundation.

Family and friends were inspired to raise greater awareness of brain aneurysms in order to save and improve lives after a local mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2012 while training to compete in her first triathlon. Now—just three years after the rupture—this survivor is training yet again, and she is serving as an inspiration and hero to those who know and love her.
