Brain Aneurysm Foundation and Chet Coppock Join Forces to Create Brain Aneurysm Awareness

New PSA for Brain Aneurysm Foundation, designed to create brain aneurysm awareness, is produced by famed Broadcaster Chet Coppock.

The world-renowned Brain Aneurysm Foundation has partnered with Chicago's beloved sports broadcaster, Chet Coppock to produce the foundation's latest public service announcement.

Chet Coppock, nicknamed "The Godfather of Sports Talk Radio", has had a larger-than-life broadcasting career that more than matches his larger-than-life on-mic persona. He has been a sports broadcasting fixture on the Chicagoland media scene. In 2013, he was inducted into the Chicagoland Sports Hall of Fame and given the Jack Brickhouse Lifetime Achievement Award.

He is the author of Laying It on the Line and Fat Guys Shouldn't Be Dancing at Halftime and just released Doug Buffone: Monster of the Midway. Chet, an Emmy Award-winning sports broadcaster with more than 40 years of experience, produced and recorded the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's latest PSA, after attending the foundation's Chicago-based event Survivor in the City. The PSA, designed to create general awareness about brain aneurysms using vital statistics, is being distributed to run on radio stations throughout the country.

The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the globally recognized leader in brain aneurysm awareness, education, support, advocacy and research funding. Now celebrating 20 years of service, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established in 1994 in Boston, Massachusetts with a mission to promote early detection of brain aneurysms by providing knowledge and raising awareness of the signs, symptoms and risk factors; work with the medical communities to provide support networks for patients and families; as well as to further research that will improve patient outcomes and save lives.
