Attica, NY event honoring the life of Jill Kirby Conley will benefit the Brian Aneurysm Foundation, the nation's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures. Scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 22, 2015, this wonderful new event includes a professionally timed race designed with both a 5K and 10K route and managed by Score This, as well as a 3K walk-friendly route.
Jill Kirby Conley was just 42 years old—a wife and mother of two children, an athletic trainer, teacher as well as an avid runner—when she succumbed to a brain aneurysm. Her family and friends have organized Where There's A Jill There's A Way 5/10K to keep her memory alive while raising funds to help brain aneurysm research.
Funds raised through this race will benefit the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the nation's only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysm ruptures.
Funds will also support a scholarship fund in Jill's name at Attica Central School in Attica, New York where Jill grew up with her two sisters and where her father Ed Kirby still resides.
The registration fee to participate is $25, or $30 for those who wish to register on the day of the event. Registration and packet pick up on the day of the event is scheduled to begin at 8:30am. The race itself kicks off at 10:00am.
