Family-Friendly Event to raise awareness of Brain Aneurysms is scheduled for Sunday, September 20th at Gray's Lake Park in Des Moines, IA

Please join us for a wonderful new event, the 1st Annual Brain Aneurysm Awareness 5K, on Sunday, September 20, 2015 at Gray's Lake Park on Fleur Drive in Des Moines, IA.

Family and friends were inspired to raise greater awareness of brain aneurysms in order to save and improve lives after a local mom suffered a ruptured brain aneurysm in 2012 while training to compete in her first triathlon. Now—just three years after the rupture—this survivor is training yet again, and she is serving as an inspiration and hero to those who know and love her.
